Yes. We provide Apple CarPlay installation for BMW vehicles from approximately 2008 onwards, including CIC, NBT, NBT EVO, ID5/6 and newer iDrive systems. Older BMW models can receive a wireless Apple CarPlay retrofit while keeping the original screen, iDrive controller, steering wheel controls and factory functionality.
Can I keep my original screen and controls?
Absolutely. Most CarPlay retrofit installations are designed to preserve the factory display, original menus, steering wheel buttons, parking sensors and reverse camera. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrate into the existing multimedia system without changing the OEM appearance.
How long does a CarPlay installation take?
A standard Apple CarPlay activation usually takes between 30 and 90 minutes. A full wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto retrofit installation typically takes 1–2 hours. Android screen upgrades and advanced multimedia installations can take 2–4 hours depending on the vehicle.
Is wireless Apple CarPlay available?
Yes. Most systems we install support Wireless Apple CarPlay, and many also support Wireless Android Auto. Availability depends on your vehicle, factory infotainment system and the chosen retrofit solution.
Do you install Android Auto as well?
Yes. We install Android Auto in Dublin for BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Nissan and many Japanese import vehicles. Android Auto can be added through activation, retrofit modules or complete Android screen upgrades.
