Mirror Screen or nothing
Peugeot’s line is drawn around 2016. From then the touchscreen carries Mirror Screen — Peugeot’s badge for CarPlay and Android Auto — and by the i-Cockpit generation it is standard across the range, wired. Before that, the 208 A9, early 308 T9, 2008 A94, 508 and 5008 had a touchscreen without it, or a plain CD radio, and no update adds the feature.
Those older cars take a car-specific Android screen. On a Peugeot the fascia matters more than usual: the dash wraps around the small i-Cockpit wheel and sits high, so a universal trim leaves a step you notice every time you get in. Our units come with a Peugeot-shaped fascia and the harness that keeps the steering controls — including the stalk behind the wheel that Peugeot uses in place of buttons on several models.

What changes on the dash
The radio comes out and the Android screen goes in behind a Peugeot-shaped fascia, so the curved console closes properly. The harness picks up power, speakers, the antenna and the CAN lines in the factory plugs, so the steering controls, the parking display and the cluster information keep working with nothing spliced. Climate controls stay physical on the older cars. On the vans and Boxer campers the reverse camera is fitted at the same visit and shows on the same screen with guidelines.

- Other models and vans — quoted once we know the year and the radio fitted.
- Wireless adapter for a Peugeot with factory wired CarPlay — ask; it is a plug-in.
- Two to three hours, usually the same day; a reverse camera shares the fitting time.
