Yes. The 9.7-inch SMEG or SMEG+ screen on 2013 to 2017 T9 cars never had CarPlay in its software, so we fit a CarPlay box behind the dash: CarPlay and Android Auto appear on the original screen, touch and the steering buttons keep working and the radio stays. The box is hidden, so the dashboard looks exactly as it left the factory.
My 308 is a 2020 import from Japan. Does CarPlay work here?
The hardware is the same NAC unit as an Irish T9, so CarPlay and Android Auto usually work once the phone is connected, but the navigation maps and some settings are Japanese. We change the region and maps so the screen is in English and the radio picks up Irish stations. Send the reg or the chassis number and we confirm what the unit needs.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Peugeot 308?
It depends on the generation. T7 (2007–2013): from €290; T9 (2013–2021): from €500; P51 (2022 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does CarPlay take on a Peugeot 308?
T7: two to three hours; T9: two to four hours; P51: about an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the 308 in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit CarPlay on a Peugeot 308?
T7: the display is replaced, but the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and the climate controls are kept. T9: the 9.7-inch SMEG touchscreen on most cars, SMEG+ on 2015–2017 cars; NAC or RCC with Mirror Screen and CarPlay from the 2017 facelift; RD45 radio on some Access cars and its controls stay; the box sits behind the trim and is switched from the factory buttons. P51: CarPlay is factory-fitted, so we only add to it.
