Ask on WhatsAppMy 2016 Peugeot 3008 has the touchscreen. Can it get CarPlay without changing the screen?
Yes. The 2014 to 2016 T84 has the SMEG+ touchscreen and CarPlay was never in its software, so a CarPlay box goes behind the dash and feeds CarPlay and Android Auto into the original 7-inch display. Touch and the steering buttons keep working and the radio stays as it was. The 2016 3008 and 5008 we did recently went exactly this way.
Does the 2017 on Peugeot 3008 already have CarPlay?
On nearly every P84 yes, wired over USB on the 8 or 10-inch i-Cockpit screen. A wireless adapter plugs into that port so the phone connects on its own, and imported cars with Japanese NAC navigation come to us for region and map changes. The P64 from 2024 has wireless CarPlay from the factory, so nothing is added there.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Peugeot 3008?
It depends on the generation. T84 (2009–2016): from €500; P84 (2017–2024): from €250; P64 (2024 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does CarPlay take on a Peugeot 3008?
T84: two to four hours; P84: about an hour; P64: about an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the 3008 in the morning and collect it the same day.
