Yes. A 2016 car has SMEG+ and the function was never in its software, so the route is a CarPlay box behind the original screen: CarPlay and Android Auto come up on the 7-inch display, touch and the steering buttons keep working, and the radio and Bluetooth stay as they were. The 2016 2008 we did recently went this way and took an afternoon.
Does the 2020 on Peugeot 2008 have wireless CarPlay?
Only the i-Connect Advanced cars from the 2023 facelift do. Earlier P24 cars have wired CarPlay and Android Auto over USB on the 7 or 10-inch screen, and a wireless adapter plugs into that port so the phone connects on its own. Imported cars with Japanese NAC navigation come to us for region and map changes so the screen works in English.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Peugeot 2008?
It depends on the generation. A94 (2013–2019): from €500; P24 (2020 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

A94: two to four hours; P24: about an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the 2008 in the morning and collect it the same day.
