This Privacy Policy explains how Vasso & Co, trading as Radio King (“Radio King”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit radioking.ie or use our services in Dublin and across Ireland.
We handle your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
1. What we collect
- Contact and order details: your full name, phone number, email address and physical address for delivery and/or installation.
- Vehicle details you provide (make, model, year and any photos) so we can confirm compatibility.
- Account, enquiry and support information, including messages you send us.
- Basic technical data — such as anonymised usage statistics via Google Analytics, and security/performance data processed by Cloudflare — if you consent to analytics — see our Cookie Policy.
- Advertising measurement data — if you consent to marketing cookies, events such as viewing a product, submitting a form or completing a purchase are shared with our advertising partners (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok) to measure ad performance — see section 4a below.
We do not store your card or financial data. Payments are handled directly by our processors, Stripe and Klarna, on their own secure systems.
2. Why we use it
- To fulfil and deliver your order and arrange installation or collection.
- To communicate with you about your enquiry, booking or order.
- To provide customer service and after-sales support.
- To meet our legal, accounting and warranty obligations.
We do not send marketing communications without your explicit consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
3. Legal basis
We rely on performance of a contract (to process your order), your consent (for optional analytics, advertising measurement and any marketing), and our legitimate interests and legal obligations (for support, security and record-keeping). You can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settings in the site footer — this stops all analytics and advertising processing described below.
4. Sub-processors we share it with
We share personal data only with the trusted providers needed to run our website, respond to your enquiries and deliver your order. Each acts as our processor under a data processing agreement and may only use your data on our instructions:

We never sell or rent your personal data.
4a. Advertising measurement & hashed matching
Only with your marketing consent, we measure how our ads perform:
- Our advertising partners’ tags (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) record events such as page views, form submissions and purchases in your browser.
- We also send the same conversion events from our server (Google, Meta Conversions API, TikTok Events API), so ad-blocking or browser limits don’t distort our statistics. Duplicate events are automatically merged.
- When you submit a form or complete a purchase, your email address and phone number are hashed (SHA-256) before being shared with Google (“enhanced conversions”), Meta and TikTok (“advanced matching”). The partners can only use the hash to match the conversion to an existing account on their platform — they cannot read the original data from it.
Google tags honour Google Consent Mode v2: until you consent, they run in cookieless mode and no advertising identifiers are stored. Meta and TikTok tags are not loaded at all until you consent to marketing. Withdrawing consent via Cookie settings stops all of the above immediately.
International transfers. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is protected by an EU adequacy decision, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Marketing emails. Any thank-you or enquiry emails we send relate to a request or order you made. We only send marketing with your explicit consent, and every such email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
5. Security & retention
Your data is transmitted over SSL encryption, and our payment flow is PCI-DSS compliant through our processors. We keep personal data only as long as needed to fulfil your order and meet our legal obligations — typically up to 2 years for warranty and accounting purposes — after which it is securely deleted.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
