Radio King does CarPlay and Android Auto retrofit on every Peugeot 5008 generation we see: T87 (2010–2017): A CarPlay box behind the SMEG+ touchscreen on 2014–2017 cars, and usually on the RT6 display, run from the original controls; an Android screen with wireless CarPlay where the car has the RD4 or RD45 radio; P87 (2017–2024): Factory CarPlay and Android Auto on nearly every P87; a wireless adapter for the USB-only cars, and region and map changes on the NAC of imported cars; P67 (2024 on): Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto are factory-fitted on every P67, so nothing is added; we check pairing and set-up if it misbehaves. Yes, and the route depends on the radio. Cars from the 2014 facelift with the SMEG+ touchscreen take a CarPlay box behind the dash, so CarPlay and Android Auto appear on the original screen with touch and the steering buttons kept. Cars with the RD4 or RD45 radio have no screen to use, so they take a 5008-specific Android screen. The 2016 5008 we did recently went the box route.
