The 2020 to 2023 e-208 has wired CarPlay and Android Auto over the USB port on the 7 or 10-inch screen, and a wireless adapter plugs into that port so the phone connects on its own within seconds of starting the car. Fitting takes under an hour.
My e-208 is an import. Will CarPlay and the navigation work in Ireland?
CarPlay and Android Auto work as on an Irish car once the phone is plugged in, because the NAC unit is the same hardware. The built-in navigation and some menus follow the car's region, so on Japanese-market cars we change the region and load European maps so the screen is in English. Send the reg or chassis number and we confirm what your unit needs.
