No. The e-208 uses the same i-Cockpit screen and NAC or RCC unit as the petrol P21, so a wireless adapter, a region change or a pairing fix is the same job. The only electric-specific rule is for anything wired in: we use the 12 V side with a cut-off set for its small battery and never go near the high-voltage system.

The facelift has the new Peugeot lion badge, three-claw daytime lights and a 10-inch screen on every trim with the i-Connect menus, while 2020 to 2023 cars have the old badge and a 7-inch screen on Active trim. If you are not sure, the reg tells us the build date, and the wireless adapter fits either car anyway.

Reversing camera: Factory-look camera on the factory screen with guidelines, coded in where the car supports it. Car radio: Larger Android screen with the factory buttons and amplifier kept, where the original display is too small. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED kits in doors and dash, extended factory ambient on newer cars, app controlled. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters, factory head unit and amplifier kept, no cutting. Parking sensors: A rear-only kit of four bumper sensors with an audible warning, no screen display. Dash cam: Hardwired on the 12 V side with a cut-off for the small 12 V battery, parking mode included. Subwoofer: Under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the factory unit, boot space kept. Soundproofing: Doors and floor treated with butyl and foam, trim refitted without marks.

CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Reversing camera: two to three hours. Car radio: two to three hours, usually the same day. Ambient lighting: two to four hours. Most e-208 owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
