The 2006 to 2016 2E van, nearly always for the Crafter Android screen with wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and a reversing camera on one display, because the RCD radios have no screen. 2017-on vans come for App-Connect coding, a wireless adapter and a factory-style camera on the MIB screen.

Yes. Fleet Crafters usually want a camera and a hardwired screen without cutting the dash, and we can fit several vans on the same spec. Grand California and camper conversions get the same head-unit routes; extra speakers and lighting in the living area are quoted after we see the van in our Dublin 11 workshop.

2E — 2006–2016 (panel van, crew cab and chassis cab): RCD 2001 single-DIN radio on most vans, RCD 4201 or RCD 4202 double-DIN on later or higher-spec vans; no touchscreen or camera input. Reversing camera: Camera above the barn doors, coded into the MIB screen on the 2017-on van or on the Android screen on the 2E. CarPlay: Crafter Android screen on the 2E, App-Connect coding and wireless adapters on the SY and SZ. Car radio: Crafter Android radio with DAB and camera input for the 2E and for Composition Colour vans. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED strips in the cab doors and dash, colour from your phone. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters, factory head unit and amplifier kept, no cutting. Parking sensors: Four sensors in the rear bumper with a buzzer that beeps faster; sound only. Dash cam: Hardwired from the fuse box with parking mode and a low-voltage cut-off, cables hidden. Subwoofer: Under-seat subwoofer with its own amplifier, nothing in the load area. Soundproofing: Cab doors, floor and bulkhead treated; load area on request.

Reversing camera: two to three hours. CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Car radio: two to three hours, usually the same day. Ambient lighting: two to four hours. Most Crafter owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.

Steering-wheel buttons, factory amplifiers and cameras are carried over on every route; the only route that changes what you see is an Android screen, and even then the controls are kept.
