10-inch multimedia screen installation for a 2015 Volkswagen Golf
This 2015 Volkswagen Golf came to our Dublin workshop for a multimedia upgrade. We replaced its original radio with a 10-inch screen, giving the driver a larger display while keeping the installation neatly integrated into the centre console.
The screen was fitted in a frame designed for the Golf dashboard and connected using a plug-in harness, without cutting the factory wiring. After refitting the trim, we checked the fit around the display and tested the system in the car before handover.
What we did
- Removed the original radio and centre-console trim
- Fitted the 10-inch screen into a Golf-specific frame

The new display gives this Golf a more modern look without changing the character of its interior. Its model-specific frame helps the larger screen sit neatly within the centre console.
