Ask on WhatsApp
Which Golf Android screen do you fit most?

The Mk7 unit, for 2012 to 2018 cars with Composition Media or the MIB1 Discover Media: a larger screen in the factory position that keeps the steering-wheel buttons, the parking graphic and the climate display, with DAB, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto built in. Mk6 and Mk5 cars get their own fascia-matched unit in place of the RCD or RNS radio.

How much does car radio cost on a Volkswagen Golf?

It depends on the generation. Mk5 (2003–2008): from €290; Mk6 (2008–2012): from €290; Mk7 / Mk7.5 (2012–2020): from €290. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

Two to three hours, usually the same day on the Volkswagen Golf Mk5, Mk6 and Mk7. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.

What stays factory when you fit car radio on a Volkswagen Golf?

On every Golf we work on — Mk5, Mk6 and Mk7 — the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and speakers, the reverse camera and the climate controls stay; the new unit adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB and a camera input.
