2019–2023 Mk2 cars, nearly all mild hybrids, for a wireless CarPlay adapter, a reversing camera and rear sensors on cars without them, in that order. Dash cams are the other regular job, because owners want the wiring done properly around the 48-volt system. Facelift and Gen-E cars are starting to come in for cameras and ambient lighting.

Yes, as long as it is done on the 12-volt side. The Puma's 48-volt mild-hybrid system is sealed off from the cabin fuse box, and the dash cam takes its feed from a fused 12-volt circuit there through a hardwire kit with a low-voltage cut-off, so the small battery is protected during parking mode. The Gen-E is handled the same way from its 12-volt battery.

Mk2 — 2019–2023 (crossover, ST-Line, ST and mild hybrid): SYNC 3 with an 8-inch touchscreen, CarPlay and Android Auto from the factory, 12.3-inch digital cluster on most trims. Reversing camera: Factory-look camera coded into SYNC 3 on 2019–2023 cars and into SYNC 4 on the 2024 facelift. CarPlay: Factory CarPlay on every Puma; a wireless adapter on SYNC 3 cars, wireless from new on SYNC 4. Dash cam: Hardwired from the 12-volt fuse box, kept off the 48-volt mild-hybrid and Gen-E high-voltage systems. Parking sensors: Four rear sensors and a beeper that speeds up as you close in; nothing on the screen. Ambient lighting: Factory ambient light extended to rear footwells and door pockets on both versions. Car radio: Larger Android screen with the factory buttons and amplifier kept, where the original display is too small. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters, factory head unit and amplifier kept, no cutting. Subwoofer: Under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the factory unit, boot space kept. Soundproofing: Doors and floor treated with butyl and foam, trim refitted without marks.

Reversing camera: two to three hours. CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Dash cam: one to two hours for a front camera, about two with a rear camera. Parking sensors: two to three hours. Most Puma owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.

Steering-wheel buttons, factory amplifiers and cameras are carried over on every route; the only route that changes what you see is an Android screen, and even then the controls are kept.
