Why owners upgrade the Ford Mondeo

How it fits your Ford Mondeo
The unit is supplied as a kit for the Ford Mondeo: screen, model-specific frame and cables. In most vehicles that means plug-and-play — the factory connector goes into the supplied harness and the unit into the dash opening, with nothing cut and nothing drilled.

Will this radio fit my Ford Mondeo?
It's supplied as a kit for the Ford Mondeo, with the matching fascia and cables. Do I keep my steering wheel controls?
In most vehicles, yes — the buttons keep doing what they always did. A few cars need an extra interface adapter to translate the signals; we spot that during the compatibility check and tell you before you order.
Is Apple CarPlay included, or do I pay extra for it?
Included. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both built into the unit, at no extra cost and with no subscription. iPhone and Android phones both work.
What's the difference between the 2 GB IPS and the 4 GB QLED spec?
Both run the same Android 12 software and the same CarPlay and Android Auto. The 4 GB QLED version has more RAM, so heavy apps and split-screen stay smoother, and a QLED panel that's noticeably brighter and easier to read in direct daylight. If the car lives outdoors, the QLED is the one to pick.
How long does fitting take, and what does it cost?
Fitting is €80 on top of the hardware and is carried out at our workshop in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11. Most radio installs are done inside a couple of hours, and we hand the car back with everything paired and tested. Add it at checkout and we'll call to agree a slot.
Can I add a reverse camera or a dash cam later?
Yes. The camera input and USB dash-cam support are already there, so you can add either at any point without changing the radio. Plenty of customers do the radio first and the camera on the next visit.
Do you deliver outside Dublin?
We ship supply-only orders anywhere in Ireland — shipping is quoted separately when you order. If you'd rather see the unit first, our Dublin workshop has the radios on a display stand.
