XP90, built 2005–2011 (Factory CD radio without a screen on nearly all cars; a Toyota navigation unit on a few high-spec cars): Hardwired from the fuse box under the driver's side of the dash with a low-voltage cut-off; cable tucked behind the A-pillar trim. XP130, built 2011–2020 (Toyota Touch 6.1-inch on 2011–2014 cars, Touch 2 or Touch 2 with Go from the 2014 facelift; no CarPlay on most cars, and Japanese-import Vitz cars carry a Japanese unit): Fuse tap in the driver's side fuse box with a parking-mode cut-off; on the Hybrid we take power from the 12 V side only. XP210, built 2020 on (Toyota Touch 2 8-inch with wired CarPlay and Android Auto on 2020–2023 cars; Toyota Smart Connect 9 or 10.5-inch with wireless CarPlay on most later cars): Hardwired from the driver's side fuse box on the 12 V side of the hybrid system with a cut-off; front and rear cameras run along the headliner.

One to two hours for a front camera, about two with a rear camera on the Toyota Yaris XP90, XP130 and XP210. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
