Yes. The firmware of the original unit is converted, so the factory multimedia system stays.
Where is the conversion done?
It depends on the radio and the car: in many cases the conversion can be done wherever the car is, and a radio swap may also be possible. We confirm the options when we check your system.
Does Apple CarPlay / Android Auto work on these radios?
On 99% of supported systems, yes (wired). It depends on the exact radio in the car, so we confirm it when we check your system.
Does everything switch over after the conversion?
Not everything. Irish FM stations work, but RDS and radio station logos aren't available yet, and some advanced settings, voice control and maps stay in Japanese. We go through it with you before you book.
