2022 Toyota Aqua Dashboard Conversion from Japanese to English
This 2022 Toyota Aqua came to Radio King in Dublin for a Japanese-to-English dashboard conversion. The work focused on making the original instrument display easier to understand while retaining the factory dashboard appearance.
Before the Conversion
The instrument display showed Japanese text in its menus and driving information screens. The supplied before photos show the original Japanese interface, including the meter brightness settings and trip information.
What We Changed
The dashboard language was converted to English with the original instrument cluster retained.
The completed display shows English information including:
- Meter Brightness settings;
- Trip information, including Distance and Total Time;
- Parking Assist settings;
- on-screen instructions for accessing supported settings.
The photos show the result on this particular vehicle. Available conversion options for other Toyota Aqua models should be checked against the vehicle year and instrument cluster.
The Result
The owner can now read the displayed English menus and driving information directly, without translating the Japanese text shown before the conversion.
The original Toyota instrument cluster remains in place, preserving the familiar dashboard layout and appearance.
