On an XW30 with the plain CD radio, an XW20 or a Japanese import with a Japanese unit, the camera goes on a mirror monitor or on the Android screen most owners choose at the same time.

XW20, built 2003–2009 (Multi-function display for energy and climate in the dash top, with a separate CD radio below; JBL on some cars): Camera above the number plate shown on the new Android screen or on a mirror monitor; the multi-function display is left alone. XW30, built 2009–2015 (Factory CD radio on most Irish cars, Toyota Touch on some 2012–2015 cars; Japanese-import ZVW30 cars carry a Japanese unit): Camera in the tailgate handle shown on the Android screen or through the Touch unit's camera input; cable along the tailgate loom. XW50, built 2016–2022 (Toyota Touch 2 with Go 7 or 8-inch; no CarPlay on most cars, some late cars have it; many Irish cars are Japanese imports with a Japanese unit): Factory camera on most cars; where it is missing, a tailgate-handle camera into the Touch 2 camera input or onto the Android screen.
