On the 2005–2015 and 2016–2020 pick-ups the camera sits in the tailgate handle or on a bracket above the number plate, angled so the tow ball stays in view for hitching. A hard load cover does not get in the way. The picture shows on the Android screen, through the Touch 2 unit's camera input on most 2016–2020 cars, or on a mirror monitor if the CD radio stays.

AN10 / AN20 / AN30, built 2005–2015 (Factory CD radio without a screen; a Toyota Touch 6.1-inch on some 2012–2015 Invincible cars): Camera on the tailgate handle or above the number plate shown on the Android screen or a mirror monitor; a bracket camera where a tow bar is fitted. AN120 / AN130, built 2016–2020 (Toyota Touch 2 or Touch 2 with Go 7-inch; no CarPlay): Tailgate camera into the Touch 2 unit's camera input on most cars, or on the Android screen; guidelines set for the load bed. AN120 / AN130, built 2020 on (Toyota Touch 2 8-inch with CarPlay and Android Auto from the 2020 facelift): Factory camera on most trims; on a Hilux that came without one we feed a camera into the 8-inch screen.

Two to three hours on the Toyota Hilux AN10 and AN120. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
