Toyota Hilux parking sensors installation, generation by generation.

It depends on the generation. AN10 / AN20 / AN30 (2005–2015): from €300; AN120 / AN130 (2016–2020): from €300; AN120 / AN130 (2020 on): from €300. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

AN10 / AN20 / AN30, built 2005–2015 (Factory CD radio without a screen; a Toyota Touch 6.1-inch on some 2012–2015 Invincible cars): Four sensors in the rear bumper and a beeper in the cabin that speeds up as you close in, for 2005–2015 pickups that left the factory without rear sensors; sound only, nothing on the screen. AN120 / AN130, built 2016–2020 (Toyota Touch 2 or Touch 2 with Go 7-inch; no CarPlay): Rear-only kit for 2016–2020 pickups without factory sensors: four sensors set into the back bumper and an audible warning that beeps faster near an obstacle; no display. AN120 / AN130, built 2020 on (Toyota Touch 2 8-inch with CarPlay and Android Auto from the 2020 facelift): Four rear sensors and a buzzer that beeps faster as the gap closes, fitted to 2020-on pickups that came without them; rear only, nothing shows on the screen.

No. The kit is four sensors in the rear bumper and a beeper in the cabin that beeps faster as you get closer to an obstacle. The kit works by sound alone and is not connected to the Hilux's screen, so nothing appears on it.

Two to three hours on the Toyota Hilux AN10 and AN120. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.

On every Hilux we work on — AN10 and AN120 — the screen, the radio and the dash stay exactly as they are: the kit is four sensors in the rear bumper and a beeper wired on its own, so nothing appears on the screen.

Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (AN10 and AN120) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
