How long does CarPlay take on a Volkswagen Caddy?
2K: two to three hours; 2K facelift: under an hour; SB: about an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the Caddy in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit CarPlay on a Volkswagen Caddy?
2K: the display is replaced, but the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and the climate controls are kept. 2K facelift: nothing physical changes — the Composition Colour, Composition Media or Discover Media: MIB1 on early vans, MIB2 with App-Connect on most 2016–2020 vans stays and the CarPlay tile simply appears. SB: CarPlay is factory-fitted, so we only add to it.
Do I need to book CarPlay for my Volkswagen Caddy, and is there a warranty?
