Speakers on each Caddy: how we do it.

Find your years in the first two columns. The factory system decides the route, and the route decides the price — send the reg if you are not sure which one you have.

FAQ

Volkswagen Caddy speakers: questions people ask.

Answers for Caddy owners. Something else? Message us on WhatsApp — we usually reply in under 5 minutes.

Ask on WhatsApp
Can you add rear speakers to a Caddy panel van?

Yes. Most Mk3 and Mk4 panel vans left the factory with the front pair only, so we fit rear speakers in the cab pillars or a small enclosure behind the seats and wire them to the factory unit or the Android screen. On Caddy 5 Cargo vans the same goes with sound deadening on the bulkhead for a quieter drive.

How much does speakers cost on a Volkswagen Caddy?

It depends on the generation. 2K (2004–2015): from €249; 2K facelift (2015–2020): from €249; SB (2020 on): from €249. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

Which Volkswagen Caddy years can have speakers?

2K, built 2004–2015 (RCD 200, RCD 300 or RCD 500 to 2010; RCD 310, RCD 510 or RNS 315 after the 2010 facelift; no touchscreen on most vans): Front door mids and dash tweeters replaced with adapter rings; rear speakers added to panel vans that came with the front pair only. 2K facelift, built 2015–2020 (Composition Colour, Composition Media or Discover Media: MIB1 on early vans, MIB2 with App-Connect on most 2016–2020 vans): Plug-in front door components with looms; rear cabin speakers fitted to Life and panel vans on the factory unit or the Android screen. SB, built 2020 on (MIB3 Composition, Ready 2 Discover or Discover Media with App-Connect; wireless on most Discover units, Digital Cockpit optional): Component upgrade for the standard system with plug-in looms; rear speakers and sound deadening for Cargo vans.

How long does speakers take on a Volkswagen Caddy?

Two to four hours depending on how many speakers are changed on the Volkswagen Caddy 2K and SB. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.

What stays factory when you fit speakers on a Volkswagen Caddy?

On every Caddy we work on — 2K and SB — the factory head unit and amplifier stay; speakers go in on plug-in adapters, so nothing is cut and it can be reversed.

Do I need to book speakers for my Volkswagen Caddy, and is there a warranty?

Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (2K and SB) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
