Yes. On the 2012–2018 E180 a CarPlay box goes in behind the factory Touch 2 unit and adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto as another source on the same screen, with the factory radio, camera and steering-wheel buttons untouched. If you would rather have a bigger screen, DAB and built-in maps, the Android screen replaces the unit instead. The 2007–2012 E150 has no screen, so it takes the Android screen.

Yes. The Hybrid uses the same Touch or Touch 2 unit and the same dash as the petrol and diesel cars in each generation, so the box or the Android screen fits identically and the hybrid energy display stays on the cluster. The only difference is for accessories with parking mode, such as a dash cam, which we wire from the 12 V side with a low-voltage cut-off.

It depends on the generation. E150 (2007–2012): from €650; E180 (2012–2018): from €450. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

E150, built 2007–2012 (Factory CD radio without a screen on nearly all cars): Android screen in the double-DIN slot with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto; fascia and plug-in harness for the Auris dash. E180, built 2012–2018 (Toyota Touch 6.1-inch on 2013–2015 cars, Touch 2 or Touch 2 with Go from the 2015 facelift; no CarPlay): CarPlay box on the factory Touch 2 screen keeping the original unit, or an Android screen for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, the kit we fitted on 2014–2018 cars.

E150: two to three hours; E180: two to four hours. You can wait at the workshop or drop the Auris in the morning and collect it the same day.

E150: the display is replaced, but the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and the climate controls are kept. E180: the Toyota Touch 6.1-inch on 2013–2015 cars, Touch 2 or Touch 2 with Go from the 2015 facelift; no CarPlay and its controls stay; the box sits behind the trim and is switched from the factory buttons.
