If it is a 2020 or 2021 car, yes: Lexus added CarPlay and Android Auto to the facelift AZ10 for those years. Every NX from 2014 to 2019, with the 7-inch Display Audio, the 8-inch or the 10.3-inch navigation screen, came without it in Europe. On those a CarPlay box behind the factory screen adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, controlled from the Remote Touch pad, with nothing cut.
Box or Android screen on an NX?
The box keeps the factory screen, the Lexus menus, the camera and the Mark Levinson sound exactly as they are and adds CarPlay and Android Auto as one more source, which suits most owners. The Android screen replaces the 7 or 8-inch unit and gives touch, DAB and built-in maps, which is what the owner of the 2015–2018 NX 300 we did wanted. Both keep the steering-wheel buttons.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Lexus NX?
It depends on the generation. AZ10 (2014–2017): from €500; AZ10 (2017–2021): from €250; AZ20 (2021 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does CarPlay take on a Lexus NX?
AZ10: two to four hours; AZ10: two to four hours; AZ20: about an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the NX in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit CarPlay on a Lexus NX?
AZ10: the Lexus Display Audio 7-inch with the Remote Touch pad, or Premium Navigation 8-inch; no CarPlay and its controls stay; the box sits behind the trim and is switched from the factory buttons.
