Every CT 200h sold here from 2011 to 2020 came without CarPlay or Android Auto, whether it has the 5.8-inch radio display, the 7-inch Remote Touch screen or the 10.3-inch display of the 2017 facelift. So it is always a retrofit: a CarPlay box behind the factory screen on navigation cars, or an Android screen replacing the radio on 2011–2016 cars.
Box or Android screen on a CT 200h, which is better?
If your car has the Remote Touch navigation screen, especially the 10.3-inch one on 2017–2020 cars, the box is the neat answer: wireless CarPlay and Android Auto on the factory display, controlled from the pad, nothing cut. If it has the small radio display, or you want DAB, touch and built-in maps, the Android screen with the 2011–2016 CT kit replaces the radio and keeps the climate panel.
