Radio King does subwoofer and amplifier installation on every Ford Focus generation we see: Mk2 (2004–2011): Compact active subwoofer in the spare-wheel well, or a boot enclosure on the estate, fed from the radio speaker outputs; Mk3 (2011–2014): Under-floor subwoofer in the boot with a compact amplifier taking its signal from the Android screen or the SYNC 1 radio; Mk3.5 (2014–2018): DSP amplifier fed from the SYNC speaker outputs with an under-floor subwoofer, so the boot stays usable; Mk4 (2018–2025): Compact subwoofer under the boot floor with a DSP amplifier taking the SYNC signal; B&O cars keep the factory boot subwoofer.
