The 2010–2018 P3, nearly always for wireless CarPlay on the 7-inch Sensus screen, then reversing cameras. 2018–2021 Sensus Connect cars come in when CarPlay was not ordered; Google built-in cars from 2022 want a wireless adapter. The Cross Country is the same job as the estate.

Not for what we fit. The D6 Twin Engine (P3) and the T6 and T8 Recharge (SPA) use the same Sensus or Google systems as the rest of the range, so the CarPlay box, the wireless adapter and the tailgate camera go in exactly the same way. The high-voltage system is never involved.

Yes. The CarPlay box and the camera use the Sensus inputs, and an Android screen on P3 cars connects to the original amplifier through an adapter, so Harman Kardon, Premium Sound and standard cars all keep every speaker. Nothing is cut and the original unit goes back in if the car is returned.

CarPlay: Box on Sensus and Sensus Connect cars, adapter on Google built-in cars, Android screen on 5-inch cars. Reversing camera: Tailgate-handle camera: through the box or an interface on the P3, coded into Sensus or Google on SPA cars. Car radio: Android screen in the Sensus position on the P3; SPA cars keep their portrait screen. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED kits in doors and dash, extended factory ambient on newer cars, app controlled. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters, factory head unit and amplifier kept, no cutting. Parking sensors: Colour-matched sensors with a factory-style tone, shown on the screen where the car supports it. Dash cam: Hardwired from the fuse box with parking mode and a low-voltage cut-off, cables hidden. Subwoofer: Under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the factory unit, boot space kept. Soundproofing: Doors and floor treated with butyl and foam, trim refitted without marks.

CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Reversing camera: two to three hours. Car radio: two to three hours, usually the same day. Ambient lighting: two to four hours. Most V60 owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
