The 2010–2018 P3, mostly for wireless CarPlay on the 7-inch Sensus screen, then reversing cameras. P2 cars come for Android screens because the HU radio has no display to work with. The 2019-on car is rarer in Ireland and usually wants a wireless adapter, or a box where CarPlay was skipped when new.

Yes, generation for generation: the P3 S60 and V60 share Sensus and the same box and screen options, and the 2019-on S60 shares Sensus Connect and Google built-in with the current V60. Only the camera position differs: the saloon's sits in the boot-lid handle above the number plate rather than in a tailgate handle.

CarPlay: Box on Sensus cars, wireless kit on cars with wired CarPlay, an Android screen on the P2. Car radio: Android screen in the HU or Sensus position on the P2 and P3; the SPA car keeps its portrait screen. Reversing camera: Camera above the plate on the Android screen, through the box on Sensus cars, coded in on the SPA. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED kits in doors and dash, extended factory ambient on newer cars, app controlled. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters, factory head unit and amplifier kept, no cutting. Parking sensors: Colour-matched sensors with a factory-style tone, shown on the screen where the car supports it. Dash cam: Hardwired from the fuse box with parking mode and a low-voltage cut-off, cables hidden. Subwoofer: Under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the factory unit, boot space kept. Soundproofing: Doors and floor treated with butyl and foam, trim refitted without marks.

CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Car radio: two to three hours, usually the same day. Reversing camera: two to three hours. Ambient lighting: two to four hours. Most S60 owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
