Note e-Power imports, E12 and E13, by a wide margin, nearly always for a screen that gives them Irish radio and CarPlay. Irish E11 and E12 cars come for the same Android screen with the Note fascia, and for reversing cameras, like the Notes on our Latest Jobs page.

No, it is a separate job we quote alongside. The Android screen gives you Irish radio, English menus and CarPlay on the centre screen. The Japanese text on the cluster and the other menus, and anything else the import needs, is handled as its own conversion, so you can book one or both in the same visit.

E11 — 2006–2013: Nissan CD radio without a screen on most cars; Nissan Connect 5-inch touchscreen nav on 2010-on n-tec and Tekna cars. E12 — 2013–2020: CD radio with a small display on Visia and Acenta; NissanConnect 5.8-inch nav on Acenta Premium, n-tec and Tekna; Japanese e-Power imports carry a Japanese nav in the 200 mm wide opening. Car radio: Android screen with a Note fascia on the E11 and E12, wide-DIN screens for e-Power imports and the E13. CarPlay: Android screen with wireless CarPlay on every Note; a wireless adapter on late E13 imports that have CarPlay. Reversing camera: Tailgate camera on the Android screen; Japanese cameras on imports reconnected to the new unit. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED kits in doors and dash, extended factory ambient on newer cars, app controlled. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters, factory head unit and amplifier kept, no cutting. Parking sensors: A rear-only kit of four bumper sensors with an audible warning, no screen display. Dash cam: Hardwired from the fuse box with parking mode and a low-voltage cut-off, cables hidden. Subwoofer: Under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the factory unit, boot space kept. Soundproofing: Doors and floor treated with butyl and foam, trim refitted without marks.

Car radio: two to three hours, usually the same day. CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Reversing camera: two to three hours. Ambient lighting: two to four hours. Most Note owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
