W169, built 2004–2012 (Audio 20 CD radio or Audio 50 APS navigation in the double-DIN slot; COMAND APS on a few cars): Colour-matched aftermarket sensors front or rear with a discreet buzzer; the W169 rarely has the Parktronic loom to build on. W176, built 2012–2018 (Audio 20 on NTG4.5 with the 5.8 or 7-inch screen; the 2015 facelift brought the 8-inch display, and CarPlay was an option on some cars from 2016): OEM-style Parktronic sensors coded into the dash display where the car has the module, colour-matched aftermarket sensors otherwise; front sensors added to rear-only cars. W177, built 2018 on (MBUX (NTG6) with the 7 or 10.25-inch touchscreen; CarPlay and Android Auto on most cars, as the Smartphone Integration pack on early ones): Front Parktronic added to cars with rear sensors only, coded into MBUX where the loom allows; colour-matched aftermarket sensors otherwise.
