W169, built 2004–2012 (Audio 20 CD radio or Audio 50 APS navigation in the double-DIN slot; COMAND APS on a few cars): Hardwired from the fuse box with a low-voltage cut-off; cable hidden along the A-pillar and headliner. W176, built 2012–2018 (Audio 20 on NTG4.5 with the 5.8 or 7-inch screen; the 2015 facelift brought the 8-inch display, and CarPlay was an option on some cars from 2016): Fuse tap in the passenger footwell fuse box with parking mode; rear camera routed along the tailgate loom. W177, built 2018 on (MBUX (NTG6) with the 7 or 10.25-inch touchscreen; CarPlay and Android Auto on most cars, as the Smartphone Integration pack on early ones): Hardwired with a battery-safe cut-off; A250e plug-in hybrids on the 12 V side only, cameras hidden along the headliner.
