FAQ
Honda Insight speakers: questions people ask.
Answers for Insight owners. Something else? Message us on WhatsApp — we usually reply in under 5 minutes.
Ask on WhatsAppHow much does speakers cost on a Honda Insight?
It depends on the generation. ZE2 / ZE3 (2009–2014): from €200; ZE4 (2018–2022): from €200. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.
Which Honda Insight years can have speakers?
ZE2 / ZE3, built 2009–2014 (CD radio with a small display on Irish cars, Honda navigation on the ES-T; Japanese imports carry a Gathers unit with Japanese menus and a Japanese FM band): Door speakers and tweeters on plug-in adapters matched to the ZE2 doors, the CD radio and any factory amplifier kept; no cutting. ZE4, built 2018–2022 (Gathers 8-inch navigation unit with Japanese menus on most imports; Honda Connect with CarPlay on some cars, maps and FM band set for Japan): Door speakers and tweeters on plug-in adapters matched to the ZE4 doors, the Gathers 8-inch navigation unit and any factory amplifier kept; no cutting.
How long does speakers take on a Honda Insight?
Two to four hours depending on how many speakers are changed on the Honda Insight ZE2 and ZE4. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit speakers on a Honda Insight?
On every Insight we work on — ZE2 and ZE4 — the factory head unit and amplifier stay; speakers go in on plug-in adapters, so nothing is cut and it can be reversed.
Do I need to book speakers for my Honda Insight, and is there a warranty?
Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (ZE2 and ZE4) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
