Honda Insight reversing camera installation, generation by generation.

It depends on the generation. ZE2 / ZE3 (2009–2014): from €100; ZE4 (2018–2022): from €100. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

ZE2 / ZE3, built 2009–2014 (CD radio with a small display on Irish cars, Honda navigation on the ES-T; Japanese imports carry a Gathers unit with Japanese menus and a Japanese FM band): Rear camera in the boot handle shown on a mirror monitor, or on the Android screen if we fit one — the CD radio has no display to use. ZE4, built 2018–2022 (Gathers 8-inch navigation unit with Japanese menus on most imports; Honda Connect with CarPlay on some cars, maps and FM band set for Japan): Factory camera retrofit coded into the Gathers 8-inch navigation unit where the car supports it, otherwise a video interface with guidelines on the same screen.

Two to three hours on the Honda Insight ZE2 and ZE4. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.

On every Insight we work on — ZE2 and ZE4 — the parking sensors keep working and the camera comes up automatically in reverse, with guidelines where the screen supports them.

Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (ZE2 and ZE4) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
