CL / CM, built 2003–2008 (CD radio built into the dashboard; Honda DVD navigation with a 6.5-inch screen on the Executive; premium audio on higher trims): Door speakers and dash tweeters replaced on plug-in adapters; the premium audio amplifier stays. CU / CW, built 2008–2015 (CD radio with a display above the vents; Honda satellite navigation with an 8-inch screen on the EX; premium audio on higher trims): Front components and rear speakers upgraded on plug-in adapters; premium audio cars keep the amplifier and the boot subwoofer. CR, built 2013–2019 (Gathers navigation unit with Japanese menus and a Japanese FM band; no CarPlay): Plug-in speaker upgrade for the standard system with a DSP amplifier fed from the new screen. CV, built 2018–2022 (Honda Connect 8-inch touchscreen with Japanese menus; CarPlay usually present but maps and FM band set for Japan): Plug-in speaker upgrade for the standard system; cars with the factory premium amplifier keep it.

Two to four hours depending on how many speakers are changed on the Honda Accord CL, CU, CR and CV. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.

On every Accord we work on — CL, CU, CR and CV — the factory head unit and amplifier stay; speakers go in on plug-in adapters, so nothing is cut and it can be reversed.
