V167 cars from 2019 on have MBUX, and most came with CarPlay and Android Auto wired, so the job there is going wireless; the few early cars without the Smartphone Integration pack get our box behind the MBUX screen. W166 GLE cars on NTG5.1 mostly do not have it unless the option was ordered from 2016, and those get the wireless box with the COMAND knob kept. Send the reg and we check.

Two. The wireless CarPlay box keeps the original screen, COMAND knob and radio and adds CarPlay and Android Auto behind it, and the car goes back to standard in an hour. The 10.25-inch Android screen replaces the small display, so you get a larger touchscreen, DAB and a camera input, with the COMAND knob still working. The ML 250 on our Latest Jobs took the screen.

W166, built 2015–2019 (Audio 20 or COMAND Online on NTG5.1 with the 8-inch screen; CarPlay was an option on some cars from 2016): Wireless CarPlay box behind the original NTG5.1 screen, COMAND knob and touchpad kept; cars that came with the Smartphone Integration option from 2016 keep it and only need a wireless dongle. V167, built 2019 on (MBUX (NTG6) with twin 12.3-inch screens; CarPlay and Android Auto on most cars, as the Smartphone Integration pack on early ones): Factory CarPlay on most cars, so we add wireless CarPlay and Android Auto; the few early cars without the Smartphone Integration pack get a wireless box behind the MBUX screen.
