C117, built 2013–2019 (Audio 20 on NTG4.5 with the 5.8 or 7-inch pod screen; the 2016 facelift brought the 8-inch display, and CarPlay was an option on some cars from 2016): Wireless CarPlay box behind the original NTG4.5 screen, COMAND knob and steering buttons kept; the same box goes on 2016–2019 facelift cars that came without the Smartphone Integration option. C118, built 2019 on (MBUX (NTG6) with the 7 or 10.25-inch touchscreen; CarPlay and Android Auto on most cars, as the Smartphone Integration pack on early ones): Factory CarPlay on most cars, so we add wireless CarPlay and Android Auto; early cars without the Smartphone Integration pack get a wireless box behind the MBUX screen.
