W203, built 2000–2007 (Audio 10 or Audio 20 radio, Audio 50 APS navigation; COMAND APS on a few cars): Camera above the number plate shown on the new Android screen, or on a mirror monitor if the radio stays. W204, built 2007–2014 (Audio 20 or COMAND on NTG4 to 2011; the 2011 facelift brought NTG4.5 with Audio 20 CD or COMAND Online and the 5.8 or 7-inch screen): Factory-look camera in the boot-lid handle shown on the NTG4.5 screen through a video interface, or on the Android screen on NTG4 cars. W205, built 2014–2021 (Audio 20 or COMAND Online on NTG5 with the 7 or 8.4-inch screen; CarPlay optional on some cars from 2016; the 2018 facelift brought NTG5.5 with the 10.25-inch display): Factory camera retrofit coded into NTG5 or NTG5.5 with guidelines where the head unit supports it, otherwise through a video interface. W206, built 2021 on (MBUX (NTG7) with the 11.9-inch portrait touchscreen; CarPlay and Android Auto from the factory): Factory camera retrofit coded into MBUX with guidelines on cars that came without it.
