Yes. The W205 came with a three-colour ambient strip in the dash and door trims, and the facelift a 64-colour one, but the footwells, door pockets and console stay dark. We add strips there that follow the factory colour and dim with it. On a W206 the factory system is 64-colour already, so the job is footwells, door pockets and rear doors.

An app-controlled LED kit in the door cards, dashboard trim and footwells, since the W204 had no ambient lighting from the factory beyond a few white courtesy lights. It runs from an ignition-switched supply, so it never drains the battery, and the strips sit in the trim gaps so nothing shows in daylight. The same kit fits the W203.

W203, built 2000–2007 (Audio 10 or Audio 20 radio, Audio 50 APS navigation; COMAND APS on a few cars): Ambient LED strips in the door cards and along the dashboard trim, colour and brightness from your phone. W204, built 2007–2014 (Audio 20 or COMAND on NTG4 to 2011; the 2011 facelift brought NTG4.5 with Audio 20 CD or COMAND Online and the 5.8 or 7-inch screen): Ambient LED kit in the doors and dashboard trim, app controlled; footwells and door pockets added. W205, built 2014–2021 (Audio 20 or COMAND Online on NTG5 with the 7 or 8.4-inch screen; CarPlay optional on some cars from 2016; the 2018 facelift brought NTG5.5 with the 10.25-inch display): Ambient LED kit that extends the factory three-colour strip to the footwells, door pockets and console, or replaces it with a 64-colour set. W206, built 2021 on (MBUX (NTG7) with the 11.9-inch portrait touchscreen; CarPlay and Android Auto from the factory): Extended ambient lighting: footwells, door pockets and rear doors added alongside the factory 64-colour system.
