Our wireless CarPlay box, on a 2017 car with the 10.2-inch InControl Touch Pro screen. It sits behind the screen and shows CarPlay or Android Auto full-size, driven by touch, with the phone connecting wirelessly each time you start the car. Every Land Rover menu, the terrain pages and the Meridian sound stay as they were. A matching box fits 2015–2016 cars with the 8-inch InControl Touch.
Does the facelift Discovery Sport have CarPlay?
Yes. From the 2019 facelift CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, first on InControl Touch Pro and from 2021 on Pivi Pro, wired through the USB port. Most owners want wireless, which is a small adapter or, on Pivi Pro cars, sometimes just the current software. We also check pairing faults and map regions on imported cars.
