Ask on WhatsApp
Can Apple CarPlay be retrofitted to the Land Rover Discovery Sport?

In most cases yes. Either an interface is added behind the factory screen, or the head unit is replaced with one that has CarPlay built in. Which route suits the Land Rover Discovery Sport depends on the year and the screen it was built with — we confirm that before quoting.

Does CarPlay work with the factory screen and steering wheel controls?

Yes. The interface runs through the original display and keeps the steering wheel buttons, rotary controller and reversing camera working as they did. You switch between CarPlay and the factory menus with a button you already have.

Is the installation reversible?

Yes. The kit plugs into existing connectors, so nothing is cut or drilled. If you sell the car or want the factory system back, the interface comes out and the car returns to stock with no trace of the install.

How long does the fitting take?

Most CarPlay retrofits are done in a few hours, so the car is usually back with you the same day. We book a slot at our Dublin 11 workshop and confirm timing once we know the exact year and trim.
