On the TL it depends on the year and screen: 2018–2020 facelift cars and most 2017 on navigation cars have it, 2015–2018 base cars with the 5-inch display audio do not and get an Android screen. Yes. On TL cars with the factory touchscreen and on NX4 cars with the 10.25-inch navigation a wireless adapter plugs into the USB port, pairs the phone automatically and leaves the factory screen and steering-wheel buttons working as before. It is a half-hour job and the adapter sits out of sight in the console.

JM, built 2004–2010 (CD radio with no screen; Bluetooth on very few cars): Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto through an Android screen in the original radio slot, as the JM has no screen to feed. TL, built 2015–2020 (5-inch display audio without CarPlay on base 2015–2018 cars, 8-inch navigation on higher trims with CarPlay and Android Auto usually from 2017; 7-inch display audio with CarPlay standard after the 2018 facelift): Base cars with the 5-inch display audio get the Tucson-specific Android screen with wireless CarPlay; 2017 and later navigation cars and all 2018 facelift cars usually have wired CarPlay already and take a wireless adapter. NX4, built 2021 on (8-inch display audio with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto on base cars, 10.25-inch navigation with wired CarPlay on most; 12.3-inch ccNC with wireless CarPlay on the 2024 facelift): Factory CarPlay on every NX4; 10.25-inch navigation cars get a wireless adapter, the 8-inch display audio and the 2024 facelift are already wireless.
