On TL cars with the 7 or 8-inch factory screen, usually yes: the camera in the tailgate handle wires into the screen's camera input and comes up with guidelines. On base TL cars with the 5-inch display audio and on the JM there is no usable screen, so the camera goes onto the Android screen we fit, which is what the 2015–2018 Tucson in our case study had. NX4 cars have a camera already.

JM, built 2004–2010 (CD radio with no screen; Bluetooth on very few cars): Camera above the number plate or in the tailgate handle, shown on the Android screen or a mirror monitor. TL, built 2015–2020 (5-inch display audio without CarPlay on base 2015–2018 cars, 8-inch navigation on higher trims with CarPlay and Android Auto usually from 2017; 7-inch display audio with CarPlay standard after the 2018 facelift): Factory-look camera in the tailgate handle wired into the factory 7 or 8-inch screen where the car has one, otherwise onto the Android screen with guidelines; usually done together with the screen on 2015–2018 cars. NX4, built 2021 on (8-inch display audio with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto on base cars, 10.25-inch navigation with wired CarPlay on most; 12.3-inch ccNC with wireless CarPlay on the 2024 facelift): Factory camera on every NX4; the work there is replacing a failed camera with an OEM-style unit, or a camera fed into the factory screen on an import that came without one.
