On MMI 3G and 3G+ cars the camera comes in through the CarPlay box if you are having one, or through a separate video interface if not, and the picture appears on the factory screen when you select reverse. On the F5 the camera is coded into the MMI with guidelines, the same as a factory-fitted one. Concert radio cars use a mirror monitor or an Android screen.

It depends on the generation. 8T (B8) (2007–2016): from €220; F5 (B9) (2016–2024): from €220. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

8T (B8), built 2007–2016 (Concert or Symphony radio, MMI 2G on the first cars, MMI 3G from 2009 and 3G+ from the 2012 facelift; Bang & Olufsen optional): Camera in the boot handle fed into the MMI screen through the CarPlay box or a video interface; on the Android screen where one is fitted. F5 (B9), built 2016–2024 (MMI radio plus with a 7-inch screen or MMI navigation plus on MIB2 with 8.3 inches to 2019; MIB3 with a 10.1-inch touchscreen from the 2020 facelift; Audi smartphone interface optional, standard on later cars): Factory camera retrofit coded into the MMI with guidelines on both MIB2 and MIB3 cars.
