The reversing camera on the Audi A3
On this Audi A3 (2013–2019) a reversing camera and parking sensors were fitted at the Radio King workshop in Dublin 11. Four sensors went into the rear bumper with a beeper in the cabin, and the wiring is loomed behind the trim rather than taped under the boot floor.
What was fitted on this Audi A3
The camera went in using an existing aperture — a handle-replacement or number-plate-light unit — so no hole was cut in the bodywork, and the video feed was routed through the tailgate loom into the cabin. It is triggered from the reverse light, so the picture appears the moment reverse is selected and disappears when you pull away. The sensors went in alongside it: the camera shows what is behind the car, the sensors judge the distance and call out what is outside the frame.

Will it fit your Audi A3?
