Audi A1 subwoofer: questions people ask.
Answers for A1 owners. Something else? Message us on WhatsApp — we usually reply in under 5 minutes.
Ask on WhatsAppHow much does subwoofer cost on a Audi A1?
It depends on the generation. 8X (2010–2018): from €500; GB (2018 on): from €500. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.
Which Audi A1 years can have subwoofer?
8X, built 2010–2018 (Concert or Chorus radio with a 6.5-inch pop-up screen, MMI navigation plus optional; no CarPlay from the factory): Compact amplifier with an under-seat woofer, or a slim enclosure under the Sportback boot floor. GB, built 2018 on (MMI radio plus with an 8.8-inch touchscreen or MMI navigation plus with 10.1 inches, MIB2+ hardware on most cars; Audi smartphone interface fitted to most cars, wired): Under-seat woofer driven by a DSP amplifier that takes the factory signal.
How long does subwoofer take on a Audi A1?
About half a day on the Audi A1 8X and GB. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit subwoofer on a Audi A1?
On every A1 we work on — 8X and GB — the factory head unit stays; the amplifier takes its signal from the car and under-seat woofers leave the boot free.
Do I need to book subwoofer for my Audi A1, and is there a warranty?
Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (8X and GB) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
