Volkswagen Touran subwoofer: questions people ask.
Answers for Touran owners. Something else? Message us on WhatsApp — we usually reply in under 5 minutes.
Ask on WhatsAppHow much does subwoofer cost on a Volkswagen Touran?
It depends on the generation. 1T / 1T2 (2003–2010): from €500; 1T3 (2010–2015): from €500; 5T (2015 on): from €500. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.
Which Volkswagen Touran years can have subwoofer?
1T / 1T2, built 2003–2010 (RCD 300 or RCD 500 CD radio; RNS 300 navigation, RNS 510 on late cars): Compact under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the RCD 300 or RCD 500 CD radio, tuned in the car; boot space stays usable. 1T3, built 2010–2015 (RCD 310 or RCD 510 radio; RNS 315 or RNS 510 navigation): Compact under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the RCD 310 or RCD 510 radio, tuned in the car; boot space stays usable. 5T, built 2015 on (MIB2 Composition Media or Discover Media with App-Connect on most cars; MIB3 with wireless App-Connect on later cars): Compact under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the MIB2 Composition Media or Discover Media, tuned in the car; boot space stays usable.
How long does subwoofer take on a Volkswagen Touran?
About half a day on the Volkswagen Touran 1T, 1T3 and 5T. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit subwoofer on a Volkswagen Touran?
On every Touran we work on — 1T, 1T3 and 5T — the factory head unit stays; the amplifier takes its signal from the car and under-seat woofers leave the boot free.
Do I need to book subwoofer for my Volkswagen Touran, and is there a warranty?
Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (1T, 1T3 and 5T) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
