Radio King upgrades the Porsche Macan: 95B cars with PCM 3.1 get a CarPlay interface on the factory screen, 2017 to 2022 cars with PCM 4.0 and 4.1 get our wireless CarPlay and Android Auto module, later cars and the Macan Electric have both from the factory. Send your reg and we confirm the route.

2017 to 2022 cars with PCM 4.0 and 4.1, almost always for our wireless CarPlay and Android Auto module, and dash cams across every year. 2014 to 2016 cars come for the interface on PCM 3.1 and a reversing camera. The Macan Electric already has everything wireless, so it comes in for dash cams.
Is the module the same as the one for the Panamera?
The same family. Porsche used PCM 4.0 across the Macan, Panamera 971, 911 and Cayenne of the same years, so the wireless CarPlay and Android Auto module fits them all with a model-specific harness. Which version is needed depends on the screen and software, so we ask for a photo of the home screen and the reg.

95B.1 — 2014–2018: PCM 3.1 with a 7-inch touchscreen to 2016; PCM 4.0 with wired CarPlay from the 2017 model year. 95B.2 — 2019–2024: PCM 4.1 with a 10.9-inch touchscreen and wired CarPlay; wireless CarPlay and Android Auto on most cars from the 2022 model year. Electric — 2024 on: PCM 6.0 with a 10.9-inch screen and an optional passenger display; wireless CarPlay and Android Auto from the factory. Not sure? What does Radio King fit on a Porsche Macan?
CarPlay: Interface on PCM 3.1, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto module on PCM 4.0 and 4.1, factory on the Electric. Dash cam: Hardwired from the footwell fuse panel with parking mode on every Macan, 12 V side only on the Electric. Car radio: Android screen in the PCM position on early 95B cars; most owners keep PCM and add the interface. Reversing camera: Tailgate camera via a video interface on PCM 3.1, coded into PCM 4.0, 4.1 and 6.0. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED kits in doors and dash, extended factory ambient on newer cars, app controlled. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters, factory head unit and amplifier kept, no cutting. Parking sensors: Colour-matched sensors with a factory-style tone, shown on the screen where the car supports it. Subwoofer: Under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the factory unit, boot space kept. Soundproofing: Doors and floor treated with butyl and foam, trim refitted without marks.
How long do jobs on a Porsche Macan take?
CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Dash cam: one to two hours for a front camera, about two with a rear camera. Car radio: two to three hours, usually the same day. Reversing camera: two to three hours. Most Macan owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
Do you keep the factory system on a Porsche Macan?
95B.1: the PCM 3.1 with a 7-inch touchscreen to 2016; PCM 4.0 with wired CarPlay from the 2017 model year stays and we add to it. 95B.2: the PCM 4.1 with a 10.9-inch touchscreen and wired CarPlay; wireless CarPlay and Android Auto on most cars from the 2022 model year stays and we add to it. Electric: the PCM 6.0 with a 10.9-inch screen and an optional passenger display; wireless CarPlay and Android Auto from the factory stays and we add to it. Steering-wheel buttons, factory amplifiers and cameras are carried over on every route; the only route that changes what you see is an Android screen, and even then the controls are kept.
