Opel Corsa upgrades, generation by generation.

The Corsa D and the early Corsa E, mostly for an Android screen with wireless CarPlay because the CD30 and first IntelliLink cannot mirror a phone. 2016-on Corsa E cars come for a wireless adapter and a reversing camera, and Corsa F owners for front parking sensors, better speakers and the adapter. Vauxhall and Opel cars are identical for all of this.

Yes. Vauxhall is the British badge on the same car, so a UK-import Corsa takes the same screens, fascias, cameras and speaker adapters as an Irish Opel. The only difference we ever see is the language on the factory unit, which can be switched to English on IntelliLink cars in the Dublin 11 workshop if a car came in from elsewhere.

An Android screen or a camera is about half a day, a wireless adapter or speakers can be done while you wait, and sensors take two to three hours. Book the morning slot and the car is usually ready by early afternoon.

Corsa D — 2006–2014 (three and five-door hatch): CD30 or CD30 MP3 radio without a screen on nearly every car; CD400 or Touch & Connect navigation on some 2011-on cars. CarPlay: An Android screen on the Corsa D, a wireless adapter on Corsa E R4.0 and Corsa F cars with factory CarPlay. Car radio: A Corsa D Android screen in the CD30 position, an Android screen on early Corsa E cars without CarPlay. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters on every Corsa; the factory radio or IntelliLink stays. Reversing camera: Tailgate camera on the Android screen on the Corsa D, into IntelliLink or the Multimedia screen on later cars. Parking sensors: Rear sensors matched to the paint on older cars, front sensors added to Corsa F cars with rear only. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED kits in doors and dash, extended factory ambient on newer cars, app controlled. Dash cam: Hardwired from the fuse box with parking mode and a low-voltage cut-off, cables hidden. Subwoofer: Under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the factory unit, boot space kept. Soundproofing: Doors and floor treated with butyl and foam, trim refitted without marks.

CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Car radio: two to three hours, usually the same day. Speakers: two to four hours depending on how many speakers are changed. Reversing camera: two to three hours. Most Corsa owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
