You do not, and neither do we. The K12 and K13 radios and the Connect nav lock after a battery disconnect and only open with the four-digit code on the card in the handbook wallet, or from Nissan with the unit's serial number. If the unit is dead rather than locked, or you want DAB and CarPlay anyway, an Android screen with a Micra fascia replaces it and the code never comes up again.
How much does car radio cost on a Nissan Micra?
It depends on the generation. K12 (2003–2010): from €290; K13 (2010–2017): from €290; K14 (2017–2023): from €290. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does car radio take on a Nissan Micra?
Two to three hours, usually the same day on the Nissan Micra K12, K13 and K14. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit car radio on a Nissan Micra?
