Radio King does head unit upgrade on every Nissan X-Trail generation we see: T31 (2007–2014): Android screen with DAB, Bluetooth and a camera input in place of the 6-CD radio or the Connect nav; the T31 double-DIN opening takes it without cutting; T32 (2014–2022): 10-inch Android screen replacing the 5-inch radio, the NissanConnect 2 unit or the Japanese nav, with the 360 camera, steering buttons and Bose amplifier carried over where fitted; T33 (2022 on): Android screen made for the T33 with the Around View Monitor and steering-wheel buttons kept where the unit supports them; mostly for Japanese imports, as the Irish car's own unit already has CarPlay. The steering-wheel buttons, the reversing camera or Around View Monitor, the parking sensor display and the Bose amplifier on Tekna cars, all through a T32 harness and CAN adapter. The 5-inch radio or NissanConnect 2 unit comes out and a 10-inch screen with DAB, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto goes in its place. T31 cars get the same treatment in a smaller opening.

How long does car radio take on a Nissan X-Trail?
Two to three hours, usually the same day on the Nissan X-Trail T31, T32 and T33. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
